10 Minutes to Refresh Tired Eyes

10 mins to Refreshing Eyes.jpg

You stayed up late last night with your best friends, or took care of last minute wedding details, or you couldn’t sleep because you were too excited.

You wake up the next morning, looking tired, have puffy eyes, dark circles or even red eyes. Yikes, you have a big day ahead of you, what to do?

Well, don’t worry, I got your back! All it takes is 10 mins.

  1. Metal Spoons

In an emergency, you need something, but you don’t have any special products on hand.  Well, I’m sure you have access to metal spoons. Everyone should have metal spoons at home or at a hotel.

They are naturally cold or you can put them in the freezer for 5 mins. Take it out and wipe off any ice particles.

Gently place it under your eyes. You can gently tap it around your eyes, where it is puffy. You can keep your eyes closed, lay on the couch and relax for 10 mins.

If you have face cream, you can apply face cream and use the cold spoon to massage your face. Use gentle pressure with the spoon and sweep in upward motion.

  2. Tea Bags (used)

They naturally have caffeine in it. Don’t use decaffeinated tea bags. After the tea bags have been used, you can put it in the fridge to cool it down.

When it’s cold, you can lay down, close your eyes and place the tea bags over your eyes where you have puffiness.

  3. Face Massage

Here is a great video from a top facialist, Abigail James, on how to give yourself a face massage to reduce puffy eyes, by moving fluids and stimulating the lymph nodes. I love a face massage. It’s so relaxing and stress relieving.

4. Eye Drops

There are eye drops for redness, allergy, or irritation. They can provide quick relief and lubricate irritated eyes. Pick one that suits your needs.

5. Gel Eye Patches
